My Roles -
Lead Programmer, Game Designer, Level Designer, UX Designer
Project Overview -
My team’s creation of Parkour Racer was the result of a week “sprint” submission for class, our goal was to make a sprint-based prototype of “running” mechanics, with the goal being focused on wall running mechanics. This gave us the chance to create a complete playable demo that showcases the different features of our game. Such as Wall Running, Sliding, and Sprinting. After this concept had such a great success I took it out of my way to take these systems and turn it into a multiplayer tag game.

Documentation and Concepting -
With this being an in class exercise, our team did the pre-documentation to prepare the questions that would be asked when we are in development phase.
This documentation helped us figure out what we truly wanted this demo to be. we called this phase the Sprint phase as we sprint through the idea/concepting phase directly into the development phase to figure if these mechanics could be made.
In this case we all individually drew sketches of what we wanted this demo to look like to better help us visualize the concept.
we then took these visualizations and picked the one that closely resembled the successful version for us to implement.

Development Phase -
This is when we took all our pre development documentation and started implemented all the different.
As the Lead programmer on this assignment I was able to untilize blueprints in order to setup all the aspects of this game.

Main Menu & Credits
For the different levels (Linear Map) and (Timer “Obstacle” Map) I created different game modes that helped with the orginization and different in programming the levels as each level served its own gamemode.
